Ladies Coached Marathon Training Course

1/2 to full marathon training course. Starts Sunday 30th June 2024.


Service Description

This course starts on Sunday 30th June, and course group run start times will be 7am. This comprehensive small group coached course is designed to train and prepare you for running a full marathon, beginning at the 1/2 marathon distance. Be marathon ready for beginning of October - perfect if you are planning to run the Clarendon Marathon on the 6th October or another Autumn marathon. 13 group runs, plus accompaniment on the Clarendon marathon run itself by a qualified Endurance Coach. So no need to do your long runs on your own. Tailored training sessions to complement your course group runs each week Race day preparation and support. Closed online course group -specifically to prepare for your marathon. Valuable hints and training tips – including nutrition and hydration. A chance to explore the beautiful trails in and around the New Forest while improving your running and skills without having to have planned the route. Discounts to keep your body in tip top condition during training; 10% discount off a block of 8 classes - valid for sweat & condition and Purestretch – core, stretch & flexibility. 10% off a 1hr sports massage The cost of the course is £350 and on booking you will be asked to pay a non refundable deposit of £100 (unless the course does not run). The balance of the course will need to be paid in full 1 week before the course starts and you will be sent an invoice for this. It is possible for the balance to be split between 2 invoices if you prefer - just let me know. The course needs a minimum of 6 to run. Should this number not be reached then you will be offered a refund of your deposit or a credit to use against something else. This course is suitable for you if you are already able to run a 1/2 marathon and can complete the distance in a maximum time of 2hrs 30mins. This is not because the group runs will be fast, but marathon training is tough so you need to ensure you have enough base running fitness. Cancellation Policy

The total cost of the course is £350 and upon booking you will be asked to pay a non refundable deposit of £100 (unless the course does not run). The balance of the course will need to be paid in full 1 week before the course starts and you will be sent an invoice for this. It is possible for the balance to be split between 2 invoices if you prefer - just let me know in advance. The course needs a minimum of 6 to run. Should this number not be reached then you will be offered a refund of your deposit or a credit to use against something else. Should you not be able to make any of the group runs then no refund or alternative will be offered. Equally should you decide to withdraw from the course no refund will be offered. The course cost does not include the cost of the Clarendon marathon or any other running event to run the marathon distance. Please note that unlike other distance training courses, during training we will not at any point run the full marathon distance. Group runs operate in nearly all weather conditions ( so long as it is safe to do so) so please take this into account when choosing your clothing.
