Ladies 10k to 1/2 Marathon Course
Get 1/2 Marathon ready in 2023 Coached course
This coached training course has been designed to take you from 10K to half marathon distance in time for the ABP Southampton 1/2 marathon on the 23rd April 2023. This course is suitable for you if you; Have never run a 1/2 marathon before and would like to. Have run a 1/2 marathon before and want to train for another. Can already run 10K and complete it in a maximum time of 80 minutes. Training for a 1/2 marathon can be challenging and whilst you will get everything you need to be successful on the course, this maximum time 10K time is to make sure that you have a good baseline running fitness at the start of the course. The course includes; *11 week training plan which will comprise of 2 sessions each week for you to do yourself. *11 led group run sessions where you will do your long runs led by a Qualified England Athletics Run Coach who is also an experienced long distance runner. *5 x HIIT & Run outdoor fitness classes at the beautiful Tenantry farm, Rockbourne to help you with muscular strength and endurance needed to run a 1/2 marathon. *please read notes below *Nutritional advice for training and race day *Event preparation hints and tips *Access to an exclusive online community group for course members where you will find lots of information and be able to ask questions plus chat with other course members. Other important information - Please read: The 1/2 marathon "graduation" run will be on the 23rd April at the ABP Southampton 1/2 Marathon. Entry to this race is NOT included in the course cost - you will need to enter and pay for this yourself. You do not have to enter this race if you do not want to, you can do the course without it and enter a different event. HIIT & Run Classes are held Monday evening's and Friday morning's and you can choose the dates for the 5 classes you attend. (There is the option to pay for further classes after this). Should you not want to use this element of the course unfortunately there is no course cost reduction. If you already have bookings for HIIT & run classes don't worry as you will have 3 months to use/book your included 5 classes. Minimum course numbers are 6. Should the course not reach this number then you will either be offered an alternative date or a refund.

Appointments & 1:1 sessions - Should you need to cancel an alternative date will be offered provided at no charge provided this is more than 24 hours before the appointment/session is due to take place. Should you test positive for COVID please do not attend your appointment and let me know so that we can reschedule. Courses - an alternative course/date will be offered provided notification is received at least 7 days before the start date. No part refunds will be given for sessions not attended that form part of a course. Running groups/ HIIT & Run - Should you need to cancel a group/class then an alternative date may be offered provided the cancellation is received more than 24hours before the start. Should you test positive for COVID please do not attend the class - let me know so that I can move your booking. Groups and classes operate in almost all weather so please take this into account when choosing your clothing. For evening runs you must wear a head torch or a chest light and some element of reflective clothing during the runs. (E.g a reflective vest, jacket or rear light).
